Works for Me Wednesday: Idea Book

I hate clutter! I try very hard to keep things in order but some items simply end up in piles. Over the past several days I have been working on my idea books. I like to keep things that inspire me from magazines and catalogs, so I tear out any page that interest me and recycle the rest. I take the pages and put them into page protectors (this way only the pages that I want are showing) and organize them into binders. I have a section for holiday ideas, crafts I would like to make, decorating ideas, gift ideas, activities to do with Livy, gardening and recipes.

This is so much easier then trying to remember which magazine has what in it and I have everything in one place!

For more ideas check out Rocks in my Dryer.

I am also doing a Giveaway for your choice of prize. What could be better? One winner will have the option of one prize. The could be one of several book or handmade hair bows.

Please head to my previous post here and join in the fun!

Great tip! I'm good at tearing out pages, but stink at following through and actually putting them in a binder. I'm inspired to try harder.

I keep meaning to do this, I just don't have any of those plastic sleeves and I always forget to get some at the store. Yours looks lovely!

I call my binder, my "second brain" it's for things that I want tod do someday, but don't have a plan for it yet.

Great tip!

I think I need to do this. I have a binder of magazine recipes, but I really like this idea.
